Material – steel

We pay great attention to the use of the right material in our deliveries, whether it involves material that the customer supplies or material supplied by our company. We take great care to ensure that all material passes input inspections and we strictly adhere to the principle of no interchangeability.
We work with material made of structural steels, alloy and austenitic steels. The supplied products and components are made of forged, hot-rolled sheets and seamless and welded pipes
The steels we work with are made according to the standards ASME/ASTM, DIN, ČSN and EN.

Certification of material and procedures

Any material that we buy for further processing and sale must have accompanying documentation at least at the level of an inspection certificate according to EN 10204
Our quality management system helps us check all stages of implementation of the order so that the result is a high quality product delivered to the place agreed with the customer within the deadline and with the appropriate documentation

Testing – according to the relevant standards and regulations

Based on the customer’s requirement, non-destructive testing (NDT) of the material is carried out for certain components, as well as a chemical analysis of material samples. For welded products, we perform quality control of welds using methods specified by the relevant standards and regulations.

Heat treatment and surface finishing of material

Where necessary for products (especially pipe bends and welded pipes) we perform material treatment using normalization annealing or annealing to relieve internal stress.
After heat treatment, surface treatment can be performed on the surface of the processed material by blasting and by applying a suitable coating according to approved procedures.
